Johnson rites in Sioux Falls

Last rites and interment for Mrs. Marvin (Dorothy) Johnson are pending at Sioux Falls with local arrangements under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home. Mrs. Johnson died Sunday at St. Joseph’s Hospital while in the Twin Cities visiting her daughter.

She was born on March 17, 1925 at Ironwood, Mich. She attended school there and graduated from high school at Superior, Wis.

On April 16, 1954 she was married to Marcin Johnson at Laverne, Minn., and the couple made their home at Sioux Falls until 1965 when they moved to Minneapolis where they have been living since that time.

She was a member of the Lutheran faith belong to the First Lutheran Church of Sioux Falls.

Survivors include her husband, two sons, Marvin, Sioux Falls; Robert, San Bernardino, Calif., and one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Gloria) Doese, Lead; six grandchildren and several cousins in Milwaukee and St. Paul.
