Daugaard rites held on May 8, 1975
Last rites for Mrs. Minnie Daugaard were held in Hope Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, SD, May 8. The Rev. Harold Larsen officiated at te service with Mrs. Clinton Gerhing at the organ. Burial was in the Dell Rapids Cemetery with Hermanson-Kahler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Melvin Fiegen, Curtis Anderson, Lee Anderson, Herb Ulrikson, Wayne Crisman and Allan Daugaard.
Minnie Anderson was born November 5, 1900 in Council Bluffs, Ia. She was a graduate of Dell Rapids high school and the University of South Dakota. She taught school for a number of years and married Einar Daugaard June 9,1926 in Dell Rapids. They farmed near Dell Rapids until his death in 1958. She later moved to Sioux Falls and made her home there until her death.
Survivors include her sons Dwight, Garretson, Glen, Sioux Falls; nine grandchildren; sister Mrs. Jennie Fiegen, Dell Rapids and brother George Anderson, Sioux Falls. A daughter, two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
