Everett was born November 5, 1891 at Doon, IA to Charles and Grace Fox Duncan. In 1897 he came with his parents to a farm near Egan. He received his education in Egan School. He worked on the family farm until 1915 when he moved to Faribault, MN where he worked in a shoe factory. Everett was married September 5, 1916 at Faribault to Mildred Jane Semple. In 1918 they returned to farm in the Egan area until 1951 when they moved into Egan where he drove and Egan school bus for many years. In 1976 he moved into Flandreau where he was a member of the Egan United Methodist Church and the Senior Citizens in Flandreau and Egan.

Survivors
He is survived by one son, Vern (Mike), Egan; three daughters, Pansy Bachman, Flandreau, Arline Duncan, Redfield and Ruth, Mrs. Cecil Christopherson, Lodi, CA; ten grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; one brother, Chan, Flandreau; three sisters, Ella Bernard, Minneapolis, June Klingler, Fortuna, CA and Agnes O'Neil, Hemet, CA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred (February, 1975), one daughter, Dorothy, his parents, three brothers and one sister.
