Harry Crisp's rites Wednesday

Harry C. Crisp, 72, Dell Rapids resident, died in the Del Rapids Community Hospital Sunday, having been hospitalized 17 weeks for a lengthy illness. Services were held Wednesday in the Dell Rapids Baptist Church with the Rev. Orland Sloat conducting the right. Interment took place in the Dell Rapids cemetery. Pallbearers were: Roe Merry, Phil Hines, Walter Nelson, Frank Greening, Oscar Emly and John Anderson. Mrs. Tom Merry was soloist and Mrs. Frank Greening organist.

Harry Clarence Crisp was born May 17, 1893 in Dell Rapids to Mr. And Mrs. Bryson Crisp. He lived on the same farm from 1898 until his retirement two years ago when he and his wife moved into a new home in Dell Rapids. He was united in marriage with Ethel Thomson in Chester on August 15, 1917.

Survivors are his widow; four sons, Ralph of Omaha; Robert, Reginald and Max of Dell Rapids; three daughters, Mrs. Andrew Burkhart, Dell Rapids; Mrs. Howard Daugaard, Sioux Falls; Mrs. Arnold Brown, Great Falls, Mont.; 17 grandchildren a brother Judson of Dell Rapids and two sisters, Mrs. Phillip Mallaux of Sturgis and Mrs. Ollie Dunemar of Cresco, Ia.
