Lloyd was born on August 13, 1908 at Flandreau, SD to Guy and Nina Rowe Chamberlin. He graduated from the 8th grade in 1922 from Chamberlin Country School northwest of Flandreau. Lloyd was married to Evelyn Bennett on November 29, 1933 in rock Rapids, IA. They lived near Flandreau until 1963 when they moved to Rogers, AR. Lloyd retired in 1971 after working on several farms in Arkansas. He was a member of the Oakley Chapel Methodist Church for over 31 years.
Llyod is survived by his wife, Evelyn, Rogers, AR:; 2 sons; Robert of Rogers, AR and Milo of Slater, MO; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren; and 1 brother, Rowe Chamberlin of Flandreau.

Evelyn May Chamberlin, 91, died Sunday, April 30, 2006, at Boonville, Mo.
Funeral services are Friday at 2 p.m. at Skroch Funeral Chapel in Flandreau with the Rev. Stan Gruneich officiating.
Burial is in the Union Cemetery in Flandreau. Visitation begins at noon Friday at Skroch Funeral Chapel. The family suggests memorials to the charity of your choice in Evelyn's name.
She was born Oct. 26, 1913, to Robert Leslie and Ruth (Babcock) Bennett at three mile corner in the home of her mother's parents in Moody County. She went to Liberty School and then finished school at Consolidated School Egan, graduating in 1932. She married Lloyd Edwin Chamberlin on Nov. 28, 1933, in Rock Rapids, Iowa. They lived and farmed near Flandreau until 1963 when they moved to Rogers, Ark. She worked as a maid and then a motel clerk for several years. Her husband died May 31, 1996. In September 1999, Evelyn moved to the home of her granddaughter, Virginia, and husband, Ken Schuber, where she lived until two years ago. She moved to an assisted living center and later to a nursing home. Evelyn helped start the South Dakota Club in N.W. Arkansas and was president for two years. She was also a member of Square Deal and Sunshine Club of Moody County. She loved to sew, crochet, and also to paint. One of her favorite things was to sit and watch the grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren play.
She is survived by two sons, Robert (Charlene) Leslie of Rogers, Ark., and Milo Ray of Slater, Mo.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill (Georgia) of Claremore, Okla.; a sister, Donna Malone of Brandon and a sister- in-law, Florence Bennett of Brookings.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a grandson, Brian and three brothers, Bert, Bob and Harley.
