Constant Steen
Funeral services for Constant J Steen, 67 of 2129 S Duluth Ave, Sioux Falls, SD, will be at 2 pm Monday in Bethel Lutheran Church. He died Thursday in a local hospital.
born March 27, 1898, near Jasper, Minn, he was married June 10, 1931, near Colton, SD to Georgina Dallen. He lived at Jasper until 1923 when he moved to Sioux Falls and was employed by John Morrell and Co for 40 years prior to retiring in 1963. He was a charter member of Bethel Lutheran Church and served as it's treasurer and Sunday School teacher for 24 years.
Survivors are the widow, a daughter, Solveig Steen, Sioux Falls, two sons, Andrew H and David L, both of Sioux Falls, and two sisters, Mrs Oscar Krogstad, Baltic, and Mrs Paul Helland, Sioux Falls.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and a grandson.
Burial in the Bethany Lutheran Cemetery, Colton, SD.
