Mrs. C. Munk Funeral Held
Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 17 for Mrs. Harry Munk who died Dec. 14 in the Dell Rapids Community Hospital after a short illness. The Rev. Kurt Brenner officiated at the service in the Hermanson – Kahler Funeral Chapel Mrs. Frank Greening was at the organ and Mrs. Dale Dunn was soloist. Pallbearers were Ben Hovde, Ebon Flaten, Leon Evans, Alvin Haak, Harold Munk and Jerry Crisp. Interment took place in the Dell Rapids Cemetery.
Clara Adamson was born May 14, 1891, to Tilda and Charles Adamson in Luverne, Minn. The family moved to Willmar, Minn., while she was a child. She was married to Harry Munk on May 30, 1921 and they lived in Dell Rapids from that time on. Her husband preceded her in death.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for about 40 years. She has been a resident of the IOOF Home in Dell Rapids for the past few months.
Survivors include a brother, Louis Adamson, Sioux Falls, sisters, Alpha Victor, Pheonix, Ariz.; Evelyn Nagin, Ossining, N.Y., and Mable Pleridge, San Fransisco and a host of friends.
