Julie (DeSchepper) Heinemann, age 54, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, formerly of Garretson, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2007 at the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque.

Julie (DeSchepper) Heinemann was born on July 8, 1952 to Marvin and Dorothy (Jarchow) DeSchepper in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She graduated from Garretson High School and continued her education at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion.

Julie worked as a graphic artist and lived in various places across the country. She relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico from Annapolis, Maryland in 2006.

Grateful for having shared her life are her parents, Marvin and Dorothy DeSchepper of Garretson; three sisters: Beverly DeSchepper of St. Louis, Missouri; Debra LaCross and her husband, Mark of Menasha, Wisconsin; and Karen Schwenk and her husband, Ed of Pontiac, Missouri; a brother, Paul DeSchepper of Sioux Falls; nieces and nephews: Jonathan LaCross and his wife, Jessie; Amy LaCross; Nick Schwenk and his wife, Elizabeth and Angie Prybil and her husband, Jeff; and many other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Garretson with burial in the St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.
