Roberta Lyn Fulton was born on January 31, 1938 on the family farm near Carthage, South Dakota to Robert and Mabelle (Moe) Fulton. It was on the farm where Roberta developed a love of the outdoors and crafted her "tinkering" ability. She graduated from Carthage High School and then Nettleton Commercial College in Sioux Falls. Following college she worked for the Sioux Falls School system. On June 11, 1960 Roberta was united in marriage with Robert E. Wright. The couple made their home in Sioux Falls and was blessed with two daughters. She returned to the workforce in 1980 working at Citibank for two years before spending 17 years at the Airport Inn Restaurant. Roberta retired in 1999. For the last fourteen years Roberta has worked as a loving caregiver to her mother and sister-in-law. Roberta enjoyed gardening, fishing, woodworking, bowling, spending time outdoors and working on Sudoku puzzles. Above all she was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend who will be dearly missed. Grateful for having shared her life are her husband of 52 years, Robert Wright; two daughters, Vicki Campbell and Sherri Donaldson and her husband, Tom of Sioux Falls; four grandchildren, Nichole Stoll and her husband, Todd, Rebecca, Jacqueline & Katherine Donaldson all of Sioux Falls; two great-grandchildren, Rylie Stoll and Harlow Donaldson; sister, Evelyn Kindsfater of Belle Fourche, SD; and two nephews, Jack Kindsfater and his wife, Kayla of Eugene, OR, and Alan Kindsfater and his wife, MaryBeth Kindsfater of Belle Fourche, SD.
