Milton (Milt) Francis Herrick Jr.
January 30, 1933 - March 13, 2021
Milton (Milt) Francis Herrick Jr, passed away peacefully at home on March 13, 2021 at the age of 88.
Milt was born in Breckenridge, MN on January 30, 1933 to Milton and Rose (Peterka) Herrick. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a decorated Korean War Veteran. Milt graduated from Brown Institute School of Broadcasting. He was united in marriage with Aldyth Scott Herrick on January 21, 1960 in Bismarck, ND. He worked in radio broadcasting in Minneapolis, Huron, SD and Spearfish, SD.
Milton is survived by son, Glen (Amy) Herrick of Sioux Falls and Drew (Rachel) Herrick of St. Louis; grandsons, Andrew, Matthew, Travis and Adam; sisters, Doris Pekas of Fargo, ND and Marian Fideler of Bryant, WA.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, John and his wife, Aldyth (10/7/2018) of 58 years.
His main passions were coaching hockey, golfing with friends, Hunting, traveling and military history.
Services will be held at a later date at the Fort Meade National Cemetery.
