J.C. "Jack" Langdon, 90

J.C. "Jack" Langdon, 90, Renner, died May 25, 1996.

Jenner C. Langdon was born on May 23, 1906, at Clear Lake to Herbert and Anna (Olson) Langdon. He grew up at Clear Lake before moving to Sioux Falls.

He was united in marriage to Jessie Beare on July 9, 1926, at Sioux Falls. He was employed by John Morrell and Company for 14 years. He farmed in the Renner area until he retirement in 1971.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Golden Age Club, Bergland Center and was an avid dancer.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Jessie; two sons: Roland, Banning, California, and Gary, Renner; a daughter, Mars. Ross (Carole) Deming, Dell Rapids; a brother, Herb, Sioux Falls, 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at First Presbyterian Church, Sioux Falls, with Rev. Val Putnam, officiating. Jack Mohlenhoff was organist. Interment was at Dell Rapids Cemetery, Dell Rapids, with Chapel Hill Funeral Home Home, Sioux Falls, in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Alvin Helwig, Albert Kasemodel, Tony Baumberger, Bob Hoffman, Jeff Brown and Tom Even.
