Jack was born Oct. 25, 1899 at Remsen, Ia. to Louis and Mary Geraets LeBrun. As an infant he moved with his parents to Alton, Ia., where he received his education. When he was 16 years old, the family come to a farm east of Dell Rapids where he lived until is marriage, October 2, 1923 to Isabel Bormann. They farmed northwest of Dell Rapids until the fall of 1974 when he retired and moved to Coman where he has since made his home. He was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
Survivors
He is survived by his wife, Isabel, Colman; one son, Kenneth, Dell Rapids, 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; two brothers, Ernest, Colton and Edmund, Dell Rapids; four sisters, Margaret Anderson, Hilda Herron and Marie, Mrs. Russel Olson, all of Sioux Falls and Edna, Mrs. Ted Wall, Dell Rapids. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
