Isabel LeBrun, daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Joungblut Bormann, was born August 29, 1904 at Dubuque, Ia. As an infant of six months, she came with her parents to a farm northwest of Dell Rapids in Moody County. She received her education at Dubuque and Carroll, ia., graduating from parochial school at Carroll. On October 2, 1923 she married Jack B. LeBrun at Dell Rapids. They farmed northwest of Dell Rapids until the fall of 1974 when they retired from farming and moved to Colman. Isabel made her home in Colman until April 9, 1987 when she became a resident of Terrace Manor Nursing Home in Dell Rapids. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, St. Peter’s Altar Society, Catholic Daughters of America of which she is a Past Grand Regent.

Survivors

She is survived by one son, Kenneth, Dell Rapids; a special friend, Leona Holbeck, Colman; 13 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack in December, 1986, her parents and one great granddaughter.
