Farmed many years in Hutchinson, Potter and Charles Mix Counties. Owner/operator of WNAX Service Station in Gettysburg, Potter, SD. Lived the last few years of his life with his daughter Beverly (Scobell) Eagan-Owens in Glendale, AZ. Husband of Anna Louise Tuffs, father of Beverly and Keith Scobell. Anna Louise (Tuffs) Scobell, b. 21 Oct 1907 in Livingston Co, IL, d. 8 Jan 1965 in Scotland, Bon Homme, SD. Married John Scobell 8 May 1926 in Tydall, SD. Daughter of William Robert & Mary Jane Hannah (Bromley) Tuffs, who are also buried in this cemetery. This photo was taken 5 Sep 2013.
