Donna Faye VanDiepen
June 7, 1938 - December 5, 2021
Donna VanDiepen, 83 of Brandon, SD, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at the Sanford Medical Center.
Visitation with the family present will be from 5 to 7 pm on Monday, December 13, 2021, at the Salvation Army, 800 N Cliff Avenue. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at the Salvation Army with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Donna Faye VanDiepen, daughter of Ed and Suzie Walz VanDiepen was born June 7, 1938 in Huron, SD.
Donna and Eugene (Gene) got married on October 20, 1969. She spent most of her life volunteering and working at the Salvation Army, loving to help the less fortunate people.
Donna was a very loving, caring, and giving person. No matter what the situation was she would always make sure her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were put first along with her special needs son Frank.
Donna had a very deep love for all the people that had worked with her and been around her.
Grateful for having shared her life are her husband Eugene, Brandon, SD; son Frank, Sioux Falls, SD; daughter Shari Schnose and her husband John, Sioux Falls, SD, Gena Bakken and her husband Barry, Brandon, SD; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ed and Suzie Walz, five siblings, one grandchild, Serenity, one great-grandchild, Trinity, and her beloved dog Coco.
