Amy Eunice Brush was born July 25, 1889 near Mankato, MN. As a small child she moved to Amboy, MN, educated there and grew to womanhood. She was married to Clarence E. Moon at Amboy, MN in April of 1907. They lived there until 1910 when they moved to a farm South of Egan. Her husband was killed in 1941 and she lived on the farm until the spring of 1942, then moving into Egan for one year. She lived at Kansas City and in Sioux City until 1947, returning to Egan. She was married on August 10, 1948 to George Sherburne and lived on a farm until 1951. They lived in Colorado for a time and returned to Flandreau in 1955, making her home her since.
She was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church and Beulah Chapter No. 2 of the Order of Eastern Star. Grave side rites to be by the O.E.S. Chapter.
SURVIVORS
She is survived by her husband, George; 2 daughters, Ruth, Mrs. Gerald Gothier, Loveland, CO; Dorothy, Mrs. Wm. Becker, St. Paul, MN; two sons, Milo Moon, Baltic, and Morris Moon, Seattle, WA; one half sister, Mrs. Erma Cole, Amboy, MN. Also 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 2 half sisters.
