Charles Sears
Brandon – Charles W. Sears, 72, a retired farmer, died Monday, Dec. 7, 19997, in his home.
Mr. Sears was born Nov. 7, 1925 on a farm south-east of Tyndall. He moved with his family to a farm north of Sioux Falls in 1939, and then to a farm in rural Valley Springs in 1941. Ge graduated from Bandon High School. He farmed with his family until he retired in 1982.
Survivors include a brother, Ralph F. of Grants, N.M.; and a sister, mar Jane Barton of Salt Lake City.
Memorial services begin at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Rowena Methodist Church, with inurnment at 3:30 p.m. in Woodlawn Cemetery.
George Boom Funeral Home in Sioux Falls is handling arrangements.
