Daisy Sears, 97, Dies in City
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday for Mrs. Daisy Sears, 97, of 900 s. Blaine Ave. at the Miller Funeral Home Chapel. She died Saturday afternoon in a local hospital.
Daisy Jones was born in Greenfield Mass., on May 10, 1870. She had been a resident of the Sioux Falls area for 68 years. Her marriage to Arthur N. Sers took place in Shindler on Dec. 20, 1899. He died in 1934.
Survivors include one son, Roy C. Sears of Sioux Falls, two grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
