Beverly (Aasen) Boettcher, 77 of Sioux Falls died Monday, September 22, 2008 at Sanford Health.

Funeral services will be held at East Side Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls at 10:00 A.M. Friday, September 26, 2008. Visitation with the family present will be from 5-8:00 PM Thursday at East Side Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. Burial will be in the Pioneer Cemetery, rural Baltic.

Beverly was born November 27, 1930 in Sioux Falls to parents Oscar and Amanda (Haugen) Aasen. She grew up in the Renner area and attended country school there before attending Washington High School. She married Wayne Hibbison September 8, 1953 in Luverne, Minnesota. He died December 15, 1969. She married Rolland "Whitie" Boettcher November 11, 1981 in Sioux Falls. While living in Sioux Falls she worked for R. J. Ries and Valet Cleaners, retiring in 1996. She was a member of East Side Lutheran Church and the VFW Auxiliary.

She enjoyed playing bingo and cards. She enjoyed collecting ceramic cats and sharing frappuccinos with her grandchildren.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Rolland "Whitie" Sioux Falls; her children, Rick (Kathy) Finley, Sioux Falls; Cheryl (Carlos) Ibanez, New Braunfils, TX; David Finley, Cypress, TX; Mark (Carla) Hibbison, St. Paul, MN; Lorie (Joe) Meier, Sioux Falls; Jeanette (Bob) Japs, Sioux Falls; Rob (Jeanel) Hibbison, Sioux Falls; two step sons, Douglas (Carol) Boettcher, Sioux Falls; Gene Boettcher, Sioux Falls; 16 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and a grandson.

Rolland "Whitie" Boettcher
(June 26, 1927 - April 10, 2010)

Rolland "Whitie" Boettcher, 82, of Sioux Falls died Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Bethany Lutheran Home in Sioux Falls.

Funeral services will begin 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at East Side Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls. Burial will be in the Pioneer Cemetery, Baltic. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM Tuesday at the church.

Rolland "Whitie" Boettcher was born June 26, 1927 at Garretson to parents Edward and Jessie (Vanderberg) Boettcher. As a small child he moved with his family to Sioux Falls. He attended Washington High School. After his education he served in the United States Army during World War II. He returned to Sioux Falls, where he worked as a meter reader for Northern States Power for 34 years, retiring in 1982.

Rolland married Beverly Aasen Hibbison November 21, 1981 in Sioux Falls. They lived in Sioux Falls. Beverly died September 22, 2008.

Whitie was a member of East Side Lutheran Church and the Sioux Falls VFW. He volunteered for 20years as a coach and referee at the YMCA and for 6 years at the V. A. Hospital.

Grateful for having shared his life are his sons, Douglas (Carol) Boettcher and Gene Boettcher, both of Sioux Falls; tow grandchildren and a great grandson; two sisters, Mavis Thompson, Glenwood, MN. and Eleanor (Larry) Seaman, Montague, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Darrell Boettcher.

The family of Whitie Boettcher would like to thank the staff at Bethany Lutheran Home for all the care he received.
