Harry is the son of Peter and Mary Grav. He married Emma Lavina Morgan in 1929.

Emma Grav died at Escondido Area Health Center in California on Friday, April 8, 2005.
Emma Morgan was born to George and Ida Morgan Feb. 2, 1909, at Flandreau. She grew up in Dell Rapids and attended school there.
Emma married Harry Grav of Dell Rapids March 7, 1929. They farmed in the Dell Rapids and Chester area until moving to Sioux Falls in 1951 and moved to California in 1952. Harry passed away Aug. 16, 1979.
Emma was a member of the Methodist Church in Escondido, Calif. She was an avid bridge player, bowler and enjoyed her family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters: Phyllis (Norvel) Frager of Yorba Linda, Calif.; Audrey (Bill) Green of Escondido, Calif.; son Peter (Arlene) Grav of Ontario, Calif., eight grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, six brothers and two sisters.
A memorial service was held at the First United Methodist Church in Escondido Thursday, April 14, 2005.
