Koreena Marie Hanson
October 16, 1963 - June 7, 2022
Koreena M. Hanson, age 58 of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.
Koreena Marie Hanson was born October 16, 1963 to Ordell and Wilma (McMaster) in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. When she was in high school, her family moved to Omaha and she graduated from Millard South High School in 1981.
Following graduation, Koreena received her Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care from The College of St. Mary in Omaha, Nebraska. She worked as a registered respiratory therapist at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.
Koreena was united in marriage to Craig Howell in Omaha, Nebraska. The couple resided in Omaha and were blessed with their loving son, Taylor.
During her spare time, Koreena loved shopping. She enjoyed food, especially her mother’s cooking. Koreena also like to listen to music and take walks at Lake Zorinsky.
Grateful for having shared her life are her son, Taylor Howell of Omaha, NE; mother, Wilma DeBuck of Omaha, NE; sister, Kimberly Hanson of Omaha, NE; brother Brian Hanson of Omaha, NE; and nieces, Sarah and Angelea DeBuck.
Koreena was preceded in death by her father, Ordell Hanson; and step-father, Donald DeBuck.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM, with family present to greet friends beginning at 12:30 PM, on Monday, June 13, 2022 at Miller Funeral Home – downtown, 507 S. Main Ave., Sioux Falls, SD. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Sioux Falls, SD.
