Marilyn Ruth Symonds
February 24, 1929 - October 15, 2017
Marilyn Symonds, 88, of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at the Sanford Medical Center.
Grateful for having shared her life are her daughters Barbara Koob, Sioux Falls, SD, Karen Johnson and her husband Stephen, Harpers Ferry, IA; sister Joan Oney, Chicago, IL; grandchildren Carly (Dane), Brandon, John (Kim), Anna (Louis); several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Dean.
Marilyn's family would like to thank the staff at Dow Rummel for their excellent care and support.
The family will be holding a celebration of Marilyn’s life at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the Wounded Warriors.
