Mrs. A.L. Youel burial in Trent

Mrs. A.L. Youel, Trent, died in the Flandreau Municipal Hospital Wednesday, Oct 25. Services were held in the Trent Baptist Church Friday afternoon, with the Rev. Fran P. Fagerburg officiating and Hermanson’s Funeral Home I charge. Burial was in the Trent Cemetery.

Jessie B. Arms was born June 23, 1887, the daughter of the Rev. Mrs. D.C. Arms in Riverview township. At an early age she joined the Riverview Methodist Church of which her father was pastor for many years.

She was united in marriage to Arthur Youel, October 2, 1907, living for some time on her father’s place. In 1922 they moved to Trent where she spent the rest of her life.

After moving to Trent, she joined the Baptist Church there and was an active, faithful member, taking part in the Sunday church school and Women’s Mission Society.

Survivors are her widower Arthur; two sons, Lloyd and Vernon of Trent; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a sister, Lena Layne of Los Angeles; one brother, Roy of Santa Ana, Calif., other relatives and a host of friends.
