Lottie Fargen
Flandreau, S.D. – Lottie Fargen, 78, of Flandreau died Saturday at the Flandreau Hospital after a long illness.
Lottie Anderson was born Nov. 17, 1903, in Ward Township, Moody County. She married Emmett Fargen Nov. 7, 1928, in Elkton, S.D. They farmed northwest of Flandreau. Her husband died in June 1966. She moved into Flandreau in February 1981.
Survivors include a son, Patrick Fargen, Flandreau; four grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; a brother, Lee Anderson, Elkton; and two sisters, Mrs. William (Ada) Theel, Brookings, S.D., and Ms. Ethel Patton, Navoto, Calif.
Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, with burial at Flandreau Cemetery. A rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Skroch Funeral Home, Flandreau.
