Lorraine Pipgras, 83, of 941 S. Blaine Ave. , died Friday, July 24, 1992, in McKennan Hospital.
Lorraine Caldwell was born Sept. 8, 1908, in Hartford. She graduated from Washington High School.
She married Raymond Pipgras in 1929, in Hartford. She lived in various communities including Hartford, Willow Lake and Centerville.
They moved to Portland, Ore., in 1942 and returned to Sioux Falls in 1945.
She was employed at the air base until it closed. Her husband died in 1967.
Survivors include two sons: Marlyn of Chicago, Ill., and L. J. of Sioux Falls, four grandchildren; two sisters, Audrey Brown and Belva Holmberg, both of Ponca, Neb.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Miller Funeral Home, with burial in Hartford Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. today in Miller Funeral Home, with family present from 7 to 8:30 Sunday evening.
