Raylee LaVonne LaBelle was born September 23, 1943, in Hughes County, SD, to Henry and Myrtle (Lunderman) Good Face. Raylee grew up on the farm, and was a farm girl at heart. After a while, she attended Pierre boarding school with her siblings for some time, and then attended Riggs Junior High School. She then met Monte Goodbird, and they had a family together. Later on, she moved to Sioux Falls where she resided for the remainder of her life.
In her spare time, she liked going to church reading her bible and daily devotionals. Her favorite past times were spending time with her grandkids and great-grand kids. She also loved to watch cooking shows, the Hallmark Channel, and online shopping. She liked having coffee with church members and longtime friend Maggie. Raylee always enjoyed getting the family together for holidays and looked forward to having family over to visit. Her laughter, smile and long phone conversations will be greatly missed by many.
Grateful for having shared her life are her sons, Robert Good Bird, Jamestown, ND; Rodney Good Bird, New Town, ND; daughters, Juanita Good Bird, Kansas City, MO, Wanda (Bernard) Crow, Sioux Falls, SD,Robin Hoisington, Pipestone, MN; 27 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard Good Face, Chuck Good Face; sisters, Rose Gary and Katie Adams.
