D. Ramona Burroughs, Sioux Falls. SD. Daughter of Malvina Shields & Rev. Joseph C. Dudley Sr. passed away at her home on December 13, 2007. Wife of Tony Burroughs, Mother of Leilani, Keilani, Andrew. Brian, Maranda, Wyatt, Noni, Wylie. Jessica. Ernie. Grandmother to Raeli, Corey, Madison. Hannah. She lived her life for her kids. Family was every thing to her. Her husband was the love of her life. They were married for 20 years. All she ever wanted was for her family to be happy and have what they needed. They had a good life together. She was very involved with her church, involved in the community, and had served on the Board of directors for American Indian Services. She was also was Chair for the Title VII Parent Committee for Indian Education. She worked her whole life in the medical field, and was presently working at Sanford Hospital. She loved to bake, sew, and do beadwork. Cooking was her passion. She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, her aunt & Uncle Jim & Ardis Rives of Enid. OK. Her brothers, Dale, Bill Jr., Joseph Jr.,David, Martin, her sisters, Dorothy Thomas of Sioux City, Dorothy Cotton of St. Paul, MN, Josette of Ft. Thompson. SD. Sheri Lebeau of San Jose, CA., Reynelda James of Wadsworth, NV., Her adopted mom Opal Stars. She has many cousins, nephews, and nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents, maternal grandparents, Bill and Ada Voice, her paternal grandparents, Several Uncles, her grandmother Annabelle Tuttle and grandfather George Tuttle, her sister Cliftene. Services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, at Calvary Episcopal Cathedral. Visitation will be from noon to 4:00 Monday afternoon, at Miller Funeral Home, 13th and Main Avenue. A wake service will begin at 6:00 Monday evening at the church.
