Keith McKittrick, 78, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota died Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 18, 2020, at Grace Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. Visitation with family present to greet friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 17 at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls.

Keith Paul McKittrick was born March 24, 1942, in Rock Springs, Wyoming to James F. and Avyce (Thompson) McKittrick.

Keith graduated from Washington High School in 1960 and enlisted in the United States Navy. He earned his Honorable Discharge after contracting Tuberculosis in the Philippines. When he returned he was employed by Jack Rabbit Lines, Land O’ Lakes, First National Bank, and Old English Janitor Service. He retired in 2005.

Keith married Judy Pierson on September 7, 1968, at Zion Lutheran Church in Hartford. He enjoyed helping with the Boy Scouts and received the District Award of Merit in 1984. Keith’s favorite past times were fishing, camping and watching his New York Yankees.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Judy of Sioux Falls; daughter, Lisa (Tom) Dobrowski of Montrose; five grandchildren, Joshua, Anna, Alicia, Justin, and Amanda all of Montrose; sister, Sharon Kindt of Brandon; and sister-in-law, Marie McKittrick of Sioux Falls; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Jr.; and nephew, Tom Kindt.
