Jessica Ann (Sickler) Schoenrock, age 37, of Sioux Falls died Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls surrounded by her family.
Jessica Ann was born on May 8, 1982 at Sheldon, IA to Scott and Shelli (Rens) Schoenrock. Jessica grew up in Sheldon and graduated from Sheldon High School in 2000. Following graduation she moved to Sioux Falls and attended Southeast Tech. She worked at Michael’s, Children’s Care Hospital, South Dakota Achieve (LifeScape), and was currently a Lead Direct Support Professional at Dakota Abilities.
Jessica loved painting and drawing and was a movie trivia buff. She also collected Koala Bears but most of all she loved being a Auntie to her nephew, Liam. Jessica also loved her family and spending time with them. Jessica loved helping people no matter who they were she was kind, loved to laugh and had the wisdom to talk people down from whatever problems they seemed to be going through. She will be remembered for affectionate smile that never seemed to leave her face.
Jessica will be forever loved by her parents, Shelli (James) Williams of Sioux Falls; brother, Justin (Kari) Schoenrock of Sioux Falls; nephew, Liam Schoenrock of Sioux Falls; grandparents, Janet Rens (Rich) of Sioux Center, IA, Jim and Marilyn Schoenrock of LeMars, IA; aunts and uncles, Jon (Lori) Rens of Sioux Falls, Diane Rens of Sioux Falls, Jeff Schoenrock of Texas, Lisa (John) Doty of Colorado, Wade (Angela) Schoenrock of Iowa and many cousins and friends.
Jessica was preceded in death by her father, Scott Schoenrock in 2010; uncles, Bruce Rens in 2006, Ryan Rens in 1991 and her grandpa, John Rens in 2011.
Funeral services will be at 10:00AM on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at First Christian Reformed Church, Sioux Falls with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
