Gurena Trumbull
Gurena C. Trumbull, 96, died Thursday at Palisade Manor in Garretson.
Gurena C. Eitreim was born in Rock County, Minn. She married Walter S. Trumbull Feb. 25, 1902 in Sioux Falls. After their marriage, the couple briefly lived in Hills, Minn., before moving to a farm near Sioux Falls. The couple moved into Sioux Falls in 1932. He husband died in 1962. She moved to Palisade Manor in 1977.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Olson, Sioux Falls; six grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; three half-brothers, Martin Eitreim, Garretson, Lloyd Eitreim, Sioux Falls, Kenneth Eitreim, Costa Mesa California; three half-sisters, Mrs. Sally Rademaker, Fergus Falls, Minn., Mrs. Jennie Larson, Clearwater, Fla., Mrs. Ida Henjum, Greeley, Colo.
Service will be 10 am. Monday at George Boom Funeral Home.
