Irma was born at Holland, MN, to Paul and Minnie Augusta Hardies on December 17, 1920. She received her education in rural schools near Holland. She was married to Arthur Pulscher on November 14, 1939, at Jasper, MN. They moved to a farm northwest of Flandreau and farmed until they retired and moved into Flandreau in November of 1994. Irma was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and WELCA.

Irma is survived by her husband, Art, Flandreau; two sons and their wives: Darrell and Dorothy Pulscher, Sturgis, SD; Allan and Karen Pulscher, Flandreau; one daughter and her husband; Sandra and Gerald Wittrock, Flandreau; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one brother and his wife, Clarence "Bud" and Sylvia Hardies, Holland, MN; three sisters and their husbands: Irene and Floyd Weatherly, Fergus Falls, MN; Mavis and Floyd Fritz, Sioux Falls, SD; and Norma and Ronald Bartels, Elbow Lake, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents and one great granddaughter, Tori.
