Frances Amelia Chamberlin, daughter of Thomas and Hazel Moon Chamberlin, was born August 19, 1921, at Flandreau. She attended grade school in the rural Chamberlin school and was graduated from Egan high school. On March 18, 1939, she was united in marriage to Herman Peper. They lived on a farm southeast of Flandreau for one year, then moving to a farm northwest of Flandreau where they have resided ever since. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She was a member of the Clare Lutheran Church.

Survivors: She is survived by her husband, four sons, George, Little Rock, Iowa; Tom, David and Roger all of Flandreau; her mother, Mrs. Hazel Chamberlin, Flandreau; two brothers, Charles Chamberlin Yuba City, Calif., and Bruce Chamberlin, Flandreau; three sisters, Mrs. E. L. (Marian Chalberg), Santa Barbara, Calif.; Mrs Kenneth (Wilma) Gross, Pullman, Wash., and Mrs. Robert (Fern) Martinson, Seattle, Wash. She was preceded in death by her father.

Date and Place of Service: Friday, May, 1962, 2:00 P.M. @ Our Saviour's Lutheran Church; Minister, Rev. George Fisher; Interment, Flandreau Cemetery; Special Music, THE HOLY CITY, A MIGHTY FORTRESS; Soloist, JoAnn Hammer; Organist, Charles Chamberlin
