Donald Dean Clark

Donald was born to parents Bernard C. and Anna Marie Clark August 19, 1938, on the family farm near Rutland. He grew up near Rutland and attended Lincoln District # 7 country school. IN 1953 he moved with his parents to Flandreau and attended Flandreau Public Schools. He joined the National Guard in 1961 and was called to active duty. He started farming near Dell Rapids in 1966 and moved to his present farm east of Baltic in 1969.

He was a member of East Nidaros Lutheran Church, a past board member of AAA and the Baltic Telecom Cooperative, and a member of the Moose Lodge. He was a past winner of the South Dakota Conservation District Farmer of the Year Award.

Don died Tuesday, June 27, 1995, at his home.

Grateful for having shared his life are his son and his wife, Scott and Julie, Luverne, Minnesota; a daughter Danette, Sioux Falls; two grandchildren: Hailey and Heath Clark; a brother, Bruce, Flandreau; three sister: Reva Oines, Sioux Falls, Rita DePew, Mankato, Minnesota, and Elise Ulwelling, Flandreau; and s special friend, Joan Anderson, Sioux Falls.

She was preceded in death by his parents.
