Clifford C. Wilson Died Suddenly Tuesday P.M.
Has Lived in Dell Rapids and Vicinity for the Past 33 Years; Burial at Egan, Saturday
Clifford C. Wilson, one of the old settlers of the community, died with little warning about 4:00 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, at his home in the eastern of the city. He had been in poor health for some time, but his sudden death at this friends.
Mr. Wilson was born at Nashau, time was a shock to his family and Iowa, June 12th, 1869. He came with his parents to Egan 53 years ago, when only seven years old. He grew to manhood. He was married in Sioux Falls in 1896, and moved with his bride to a farm four miles north of Dell Rapids. He lived there until seven years ago, when he moved to Dell Rapids and has lived here since that time. He died August 21st, aged 60 years, 2 months and 9 days.
The funeral will be held Saturday at the house, and the body will then be taken to Egan for burial.
Mr. Wilson leaves a wife and many friends who mourn his passing from us.
