Ellis is the son of Richard Wilson and Mary Lemly. He married Margaret Emeline Hutton. After Margaret died he married her sister, Ida Viola Hutton on Nov. 24, 1886
Sudden Stroke Takes Road Man
E.D. Wilson, state maintainer on No.11 between here and Egan, passed away at his home here on Friday due to a stroke he suffered while about his work on the road Wednesday. He leaves a wife and two sons and three daughters, besides 17 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The sons are Ed and George and the daughters are Mrs. A.W. Platts, Mrs. Emil Carlson and Mrs. Albert Olson.
Deceased was born in Wisconsin on Sept. 1, 1856, and was there fore 72 years, six months and 14 days of age. He resided in the old home state until 1900, when he brought his family to Moody County and they resided here since. He was well liked by all who knew him and was a good husband and father.
The funeral was held Monday with services at the home conducted by Rev. Eberhart of the M.E. Church and interment followed in the Cemetery at Egan.
