Last rites were held in the Dell Rapids Lutheran Church Saturday, September 3 for Mrs. Tilda Adamson. Mrs. Adamson died in the Dell Rapids Hospital Thursday, September 1 at the age of 90.

The Rev. E.S. Skaar officiated and Mrs. John Muller was organist while Mrs. Clarence Dybvig was vocalist. Pallbearers were Ben Hovde, Charles Megard, Douglas Evans, Harry Evans, Leon Evans, Ebon Flaten. Interment took place in the Dell Rapids cemetery with Hermanson's in charge.

Tilda Evans was born in Madison, Wisconsin to Benedict and Anna Moe Evans on October 12, 1869. The eldest of 11 children, she was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. On June 1, 1880 at Luverne, Minnesota, she was United in marriage to Charles Adamson. To this union 11 children were born. Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Harry Munk and Mrs. Florence Hunter, Dell Rapids; Mrs. E.P. Aleridge, Auburn, California; Mrs. Jack Nagin, New York City and Mrs. M.C. Victor, Phoenix, Arizona; three sons, Seth of Sioux Falls; Louie, Renner and George of Dell Rapids. She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters; Mrs. Emma Halvorson, Minneapolis and Mrs. Charlotte Megard, Sherman and a son Kermit, Minneapolis; one sister and three brothers.

Mrs. Adamson was a Gold Star Mother and member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
