Louis L Hiller, 80, Colman, died Saturday in McKennan Hospital after a long illness
Mr. Hiller was born Oct 31, 1908, on a farm in Riverview Township, Moody County. At 5, he moved to a farm two miles south of Colman. He received his education in rural Moody County schools and then began farming with his brother, John.
He married Edna Eich on March 31, 1937, in Colman. They continued to farm until 1970 when they retired but continued to make their. Home on the farm where he had lived for the last 70 years. He worked the last several years as a greenkeeper at Colman Recreation Center.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Raymond, Billingham, WA; two daughters: Mrs. Jerome (Loretta) Dangel, Gilbert AZ; and Mrs. Charles (Marilyn) Ginsback, Yankton; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Edward, Flandreau; and two sisters: Anna Strohbeen, Sioux Falls; and Mabel Jokumsen, Tucson, AZ
