Last Rites Held For Harold Grove Saturday

Last rites were held Saturday afternoon for Harold Grove whose death occurred December 21st, at Northfield, Minn., where he was attending Carleton College. The service was held at the home of the lad's mother, Mrs. M.M. Grove, with Rev. Harold W. Wagmar, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church in charge. He gave a very impressive and comforting sermon. Mrs. R.R. Fisk of Flandreau, an aunt of Harold's, sang that beautiful hymn, "No Night There."

Robert Reynolds, John Eagan, Morris Nestrud, Harvey Blow, Walter Thoreson and Art Beto, intimate friends of the deceased since childhood, laid their friend to rest in the Dell Rapids cemetery, beside his father who died a few years ago.

In heaven there will be no parting, no pain to bear;
No care-worn brow, no sigh, no silvery hair;
No death to snatch our loved ones from our side,
No anger waves, no sea, no treacherous tide.
