Iowa is the daughter of Joseph and Rebecca Page. She married William F. Lander. 1865 - 1930. After William died she married Bert Alverson (1877 - 1968) June 7, 1938.
Mrs. B. Alverson
Mrs. Bert Alverson died in a Chester Nursing Home Friday last week. Services were held Monday in the Chester Methodist Church with interment taking place in the Dell Rapids cemetery.
Iowa Dakota Page was born April 2, 1877, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Page, in Dell Rapids. She was married in 1902 to William Lander. He died in 1930. She was united in marriage with Bert Alverson in 1938. Her widower, four step-children: Mrs. Henry Uthe, Mrs. Arthur Malthesen, Myron Alverson, all of Chester; Mrs. James Stenseth, Livermore, Calif.; 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, three sisters, Mrs. Fanny Sherwood, Mrs. Able Brown and Mrs. Mary Walters, all of Chester, survive. She was preceded in death by a son and a daughter and a step-son, three sisters and a brother.
