Mrs. Oswald Daggett Dies In Sleep Saturday Morning
Funeral Services Conducted Tuesday Afternoon In The Dell Rapids Lutheran Church
Mrs. Oswald Daggett passed away in her sleep early Saturday morning, at her home in Dell Rapids. Although she had been in failing health for several years her passing came as a shock to her relatives and friends, as there had been no indications of her serious condition.
Anna Sophia Forbregd was born at Ogden, Utah, September 23, 1891, the daughter of Anton and Joanetta Forbregd. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church early in life. She moved with her family to Jasper, Minn., where grew to womanhood and attended school.
She was married to Oswald Daggett December 10th, 1910, and they have made Dell Rapids there home since that time, with the exception of a year they spent in California.
At death she was 58 years, 9 months, and 13 days of age.
She is survived by her husband, one brother Gilbert, of Santa Cruz, California, several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. Her mother, and father, and five sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Lutheran Church in Dell Rapids, by the pastor Rev. Ole M. Odland. Interment was in the Dell Rapids Cemetery. Pallbearers were Harry Blow, Steve Burke, Milo Axtell, Martin Jenson, Edwin Anderson and Arthur Turner.
The Hermanson funeral service had charge of arrangements.
