Services for Mrs. Genevieve Cato who died in Lamb Memorial Hospital, Denver, Monday morning, will be held in the Dell Rapids Baptist Church Saturday, March 21 at 2 p.m. The Rev. R. J. Gorgon will officiate and interment will be in the Dell Rapids Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Clifford Wilson and Robert Williamson of Dell Rapids. Hermanson Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Cato had been ill for the past few months and left here only recently to be at the home of her daughter Mrs. J. H. Dennison in Denver. After her hospitalization there, her daughter Mrs. Marion Maseman of Dell Rapids left by car and together with her sister and brother, Jim Cato also of Denver, was at the bedside when their mother died.

Genevieve Daggett was born on April 9, 1884, the daughter of Simeon and Amanda Daggett, in Sibley, Illinois. The family moved to Iowa near Rock Rapids in 1888 and to Dell Rapids in 1900. She was married to the Rev. James S. Cato on April 6, 1908.

She is survived by her three early childhood; three sisters, Mrs. E.N. Florell (Lucille) Dell Rapids; Mrs. J. H. Hink (Mable) Pipestone; Mrs. Bertha Withrow, Paradise, Calif.; two brothers, A.J. Daggett, Dawson, MInn., and O.L. Daggett, Michigan City, Ind. She had ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Cato was a member of the Dell Rapids Baptist church and of the Carolyn Rebekah Lodge.
