The funeral services of Mrs. Florence Spear, wife of Gust Spear, and their infant child were held Tuesday afternoon at the Presbyterian church, and the remains were interred in the cemetery. There was a large attendance. The sudden death of Mrs. Spear was very sad, and it was quite a shock to the community. She had been sick for about two weeks with pneumonia but was not considered dangerously ill. Her child was born while she was sick and lived but a short time. After that she gradually grew worse until Friday morning when she passed away. The remains of the mother and child were buried in the same coffin. The husband whose home has been stricken by sorrow has the heartfelt sympathy of all.
