Wildermuth rites held Friday
Funeral services were held Friday, May 30 in the Lutheran Church of Dell Rapids for Mrs. Arnold Wildermuth, 47. Mrs. Wildermuth died May 28 after a lingering illness. The Rev. E.S. Skaar, the Rev. Martin Haase and the Rev. Al Goldammer officiated. Mrs. James Hendrickson was at the organ and Ron Peterson was soloist. Pallbearers were Dr. P.K. Aspaas, Leonard Hegg, Rod Vietor, Laurin Carroll, Marvin Decker and Dennis Hegg. Kelly Anderson and Harvey Ellefson were ushers. Interment took place in the Dell Rapids Cemetery with Hermanson – Kahler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Loreen Nuss was born Dec. 5, 1927 in Tripp to Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Nuss. She was graduated from Tripp high school and attended Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell. On Jan 1, 1948 she was married to Arnold Wildermuth in Tripp. They moved to Dell Rapids that year and have continued to make their home here since that time. She was employed as a nurse's aid at the Dell Rapids Community Hospital before she became ill. She was a member of the Lutheran church, the ALCW and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her widower, daughter Heidi, at home; sons David and Paul, Dell Rapids; Daniel, Williamsburg Va.; a grandson, her mother Mrs. Lydia Nuss, Tripp; sister Mrs. Malven Schmoll, Mitchell and Mrs. Hugo Wudel, Parkston and brother Floyd Nuss, Tripp. Her father preceded her in death.
