"FERGUSON-TATE WEDDING SOLEMNIZED AT MOTT, N.D.
The announcement of the marriage of Miss Dorothy Ferguson, of Mott, N.D., to Philip Tate, came as a surprise to their many friends in this vicinity. Mrs. Tate in the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terrance Ferguson of Mott, N.D., who formerly lived near Canton. Mr. Tate is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Tate, and has lived near Harrisburg his entire life. They motored from Mott, arriving at the Tate home July forth. A large party of friends gathered Friday evening to welcome them. They will reside on a farm near Worthing."

Obituary:
Dorothy May Ferguson was born Feb. 21, 1903 at Worthing and died at a Sioux Falls hospital Nov. 26, 1931. She was ill but a few days, death being caused from a blood clot on the brain. Most of her life was spent near Worthing. The family lived in North Dakota for several years where she graduated from the high school at Mott. She taught school for four years after which she was united in marriage to Phillip Tate of Worthing on June 30, 1927. To this union one son, James Arthur, was born, who with her husband, her mother and father, three brothers and two sisters survive. Funeral services were conducted from the Catholic church at Worthing on Saturday morning and interment was made in the Worthing Cemetery. Those out of town who attended the service were Arthur and Herbert Dortland of Mitchell and her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. T. Ferguson and brother, Delbert Ferguson.
