Iola Mae Cammack as born October 4, 1921 in Mallard, Iowa to Errol G. and Pansy V. (Reed) Cammack. She grew up in Iowa and moved with her family to Lennox, SD where she graduated from Lennox High School in 1941. Iola enlisted in the Army in 1943 and served in Australia & New Guinea. She was united in marriage to Roy E. Daggett in Luverne, MN on June 2, 1951. They made their home in Sioux Falls, where she became a licensed beautician and worked at Shriver's Beauty Shop. Roy passed away June 5, 1991. Iola enjoyed life, working at the Kids Closet, volunteering at the VA, spending time with her grandchildren, and helping others. Grateful for sharing her life are her children, Sherrol M. Daggett, Steven J. (wife, Mary) Daggett, and Lori Kaye Daggett; her grandchildren, Kevin and Deanna Daggett, all of Sioux Falls; her step-brother, Boyd Cammack, of Storm Lake, IA; her aunt, Doris Ables, of Kanawha, IA; her sister-in-law, Doris Daggett, of Minneapolis, MN; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Roy, her parents, 2 brothers, Ralph & Ray, and 1 sister, Edna Peters, precede her in death.
