Donna Romereim, daughter of Nels Romereim, married Garry Stahlheim, son of Orvie and Marie Stahlheim, on June 25,1955. Garry was working for Nels and later rented the family farm for a few years. To this union was born four children: Mark, born June 2, 1956, Marshall, Oct. 12, 1957; Michael, May 4, 1960; and Melinda, Sept. 27, 1965. Garry and Donna and family were active members of Romsdal Lutheran Church, where Donna sang with the Ladies Chorus and sang solos at many of the social functions of the com¬munity. Garry played softball with the church team and ushered at Romsdal. Garry and Donna then moved to Can¬ton where Garry was a mechanic and Donna was employed by the Dept. of Social Services. They joined Canton Lutheran Church where Donna sings in the choir and Garry is on the board of deacons. Donna became a member of the Sioux Falls Sweet Adelines. Both Garry and Donna are interested in golfing and belong to bowling leagues. Mark, the eldest son, presently lives in Seattle, Wash. Marshall married Marion Maack and they are currently living in Omaha. Michael mar¬ried Kathy Thelan and they have two children and live in Sioux Falls. Melinda is currently attending college in Spearfish. (Source: The History of Lincoln County, SD 1985, page 693)
