Christopher Ernest Ivarie, 26, died on Thursday, December 1, 2005 at Avera Mckennan Hospital. Christopher was born on April 6, 1979 in Bismarck, ND, the son of Les and Tracy (Wiedmer) Ivarie. Chris was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mott, ND and confirmed at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. The family lived in Mott until he was in the 5th grade when they moved to Sioux Falls, SD. In 1994, they moved to Tea, SD where he continued his education and played on the Lennox High School football team. Chris worked in the construction business working for SBSI and was currently attending Southeast Area Vocational pursuing a degree in Business Administration. Chris enjoyed spending time with his nephews and long phone conversations with his uncle, Ken. Chris loved pheasant hunting and darts. He was a NASCAR fan, his favorite drivers being, Jimmy Johnson and Tony Stewart. Grateful for having shared his life are his parents, Les and Tracy Ivarie, Tea, SD; sister, Tonie Nelson and her fiancé, Chris Holtz, Worthing, SD; maternal grandparents, Alvin & Alice Wiedmer, Mott, ND; aunts, Myra (Dennis) Hummel, Mott, ND, Linda Fettig, Bismarck, ND; uncle, Ken Ivarie, Parachute, CO; nephews, Noah Nelson and Carter Holtz, both of Worthing, SD; cousins, Shannon Hummel, Mott, ND, Jason (Becky) Hummel, Fargo, ND, Michaela Fettig and Jeremy Fettig, both of Bismarck, ND; Ashley, a girl whom he treated like his own daughter; and numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins; and his cat, Quasi. Christopher's fraternal grandparents, Ernest & Doris Ivarie and an uncle, Frank Fettig, preceded him in death.
