Dennis "Denny" Wayne Dreeszen was born December 10, 1946 at Cherokee, IA. He moved with his family to Worthington, MN where he received his education, graduating from Worthington High School in 1965. Following high school, he worked at the state capital in St. Paul, MN for the Minnesota Highway Department. He was united in marriage with Nancy Welch on April 1, 1967 in St. Paul, MN. Following their marriage, the couple moved to Sioux Falls where Denny was employed with Egger Steel Company where he detailed buildings as a draftsman. In 1971, they moved to Colorado Springs, CO where he was owner and operator of Sigma Metal Company. In 1991, he sold the business and moved back to Sioux Falls. Denny loved computers and also had a wonderful sense of humor. He was an accomplished artist in pencil portraits. Together, he and his wife were both artists, and were a compliment to each other in their artistic nature. Denny also had interests in photography, sailing, and off road motorcycle riding. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Nancy Dreeszen of Sioux Falls, SD; his daughter, Wendy Wiese and her husband, Kent and their son, Ian, of Worthington, MN; one son, Paul Dreeszen of Sioux Falls, SD; and two brothers, Bob Dreeszen and his wife Carol, living in Alaska, and Terry Dreeszen of Beresford, SD.
