Arthur Duncan
Egan, S.D. – Funeral services for Arthur A. Duncan, 76 will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Egan Methodist Church. He died Wednesday in a Dell Rapids Hospital.
Born Dec. 17, 1889, in Doon, Iowa, he was married to Hazel Stombaugh on March 4, 1914, in Egan. They farmed in Moody County until moving into Egan in 1944.
Survivors are his widow; three daughters, Mrs. Fracis DeLay of Egan, Mrs. Morgan Wagoner, Albany, N.Y., and Mrs. Leonard Amdahl, Trent; three sons, Arthur of Egan, Dwaine, Honolulu, Hawaii, and Dwight Columbus Junction, Iowa; 19 grandchildren; a great grandchild; three sisters, and two brothers, including Everett Duncan and Chan Duncan, both of Egan.
