Beverly Ann Cain
February 19, 1960 - August 11, 2022
Beverly Ann Cain, 62 of Sioux Falls, SD passed away peacefully Thursday, August 11, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Visitation with the family present will be from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2022 at George Boom Funeral Home and On-Site Crematory. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at George Boom Funeral Home and On-Site Crematory.
Bev was born the daughter of Merlin and Lorraine (Vanden Bosch) Vander Maten in Westbrook, MN. She was raised in Corson, SD and graduated from Brandon Valley High School in 1980. Bev was united in marriage to Fred “Butch” Cain on May 31, 1980 in Sioux Falls. They made their home in Sioux Falls, where they raised their family.
Bev had the biggest heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need even if they didn’t want it. She loved photography and the outdoors. She looked forward to her yearly sister's weekend trip. Bev loved Christmas not to mention baking all the goodies that came with it. She soaked in every moment of the holidays; it was simply time spent with her family. Bev’s family was her top priority, especially her children and grandchildren.
Bev is survived by her husband, Butch Cain; son, Chad Vander Maten; daughters, Katie Cain and Krystal Cain; five grandchildren, Brandon Vander Maten, Darren Cundall, Morgan Vander Maten, Corbin Cain and Cooper Gillen; 2 great granddaughters; mother, Lorraine Vander Maten; siblings, Evelyn (Dennis) Dudley, Wayne (Maggie) Vander Maten, Calvin (Brenda) Vander Maten, Ron (Donna) Vander Maten, Karen (Colleen Collier) Vander Maten, Sandy Vander Maten; numerous nieces and nephews.
Bev was preceded in death by her father, Merlin Vander Maten; son, Teddy Cain; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Barney Cain Sr. and Agnes Cain.
